What principle is used to select video editing software

We were looking for video editing software that uses the latest technology while keeping the interface simple enough for users. The following criteria should be considered: ease of use, interface, compatibility with source code, export formats and rendering speed.

Ease of use: Even complex video editing software should be relatively easy to use. The interfaces that allow you to customize panels will make the editing process intuitive for every user and project.

Interface: A clear interface is one that provides the tools you need right at your fingertips. Some interfaces are cluttered with all the tools you can use, while others limit what you see to what you use for the current project. We were looking for interfaces that let you customize or design that make it easy to find the tools you need.

Source code compatibility: There are so many source code options today that it becomes more of a necessity for video editing software. Essentially, software should accept HDs and MP4s, but software that supports more advanced options like VR, 360, and HEVC is more useful for the rapidly evolving visual media landscape.

Export Formats: Like source compatibility, the types of formats the software can export will greatly affect what you can do with your final videos. MP4, Vimeo, YouTube, 4K and HEVC are all possibilities. We were looking for software with a wide range of export options.

Rendering speed: Rendering speed depends on how well the software handles a set of extra features when rendering the final product. High rendering speed means that the software works efficiently within the available system configuration.

Addendum: Multi-camera editing, multiple perspectives, multiple tracks are all features that allow advanced users to create more complex videos. We were looking for easy access to basic features as well as advanced features included in the software or available through additional plug-ins or subscriptions.
